Mr. Henry Stephen Miller has been Senior Advisor of Stifel Financial Corp. since June 2011. Mr. Miller co-founded Miller Buckfire & Co., LLC in February, 2001 and served as its Chairman and Managing Director from February 2001 to 2011. He served as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc., where he served as the Global Head of its Financial Restructuring Group. He served as a Managing Director and Head of Restructuring Group and Transportation Industry Group at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Miller joined Salomon Brothers from Prudential Securities, where he served as a Managing Director from 1989 to 1992, Co-Head of Investment Banking from 1990 to 1992 and also served as its Head of the Financial Restructuring Group. He joined Prudential Securities in 1989. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at Eichner Properties, Inc. Mr. Miller served as Chief Executive Officer of Miller Buckfire & Co., LLC from 2002 to 2009.
In the restructuring sector, he has represented debtors, creditors and other constituents in numerous out of court and chapter 11 matters. He has been the Chairman of Marblegate Asset Management, LLC since February 2009. Mr. Miller has been an Independent Director of American International Group, Inc. since April 7, 2010. He has been an Independent Director at The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc., since March 1, 2015. He served as a Director of Ally Financial Inc. from August 2012 to July 17, 2014. He serves as a Trustee of UJA/Federation of Greenwich, CT. He serves as a Trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and Fordham University, Director of AIG and a Member of the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School. He served as a Trustee of Save The Children Federation, Incorporated since February 2008. He has an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business in 1970 and a B.A. from Fordham University College of Arts and Sciences (now Fordham College at Rose Hill) in 1968.
