NEW YORK, NY – May 15th, 2012 – Applico, the award-winning mobile consulting and development firm with headquarters in Manhattan, today announced the official commencement of business operations out of its new L.A. office.
Applico, which maintains headquarters in New York City and an engineering hub in Boston, chose L.A. to ensure a local presence in the thriving west coast technology scene. West L.A. has recently become a hotbed for innovative tech start-ups, earning it the moniker, “Silicon Beach.”
“L.A. represents an opportunity for Applico to establish a local presence to interface with the thriving entertainment and technology industries, which stand to benefit greatly from the disruption being caused by mobile,” said Alex Moazed, Applico’s CEO. “Our services address the needs of big brands, internet commerce, media-driven entertainment enterprises and tech start-ups alike. The rapidly expanding tech and start-up scene in L.A. is no accident. The office is located just a few blocks from the beach in Santa Monica at 227 Broadway, Suite 200.
