China Invents Fake Swiss Biologist Quoted in Media 👨🔬
The Swiss Embassy in Beijing recently released a statement asking for Chinese news outlets to remove references to a fake Swiss biologist, Wilson Edwards, who was quoted by Chinese media making statements about Covid-19. Alex discusses this blatant misinformation from China and looks at some other examples of the CCP attempting to control global narrative, including the government’s recently appointed board seat at ByteDance (owner of Tiktok), and investments into platforms like Reddit.
