Is Banning Russian Media The Right Move?
The EU has issued a regulation amendment that will de-index content from Russian state media. I discuss this move by the EU and explain why I think business choosing whether or not to operate in Russia is very different from a move like this that stifles free speech. Most of us would agree that Russian media is propaganda but should they still have the right to disseminate information?
