Why Big Tech Hates The American Innovation and Choice Act

The American Innovation and Choice Online Act is a bill that prohibits certain large online platforms from engaging in specified acts, including giving preference to their own products on the platform, unfairly limiting the availability on the platform of competing products from another business, or discriminating in the application or enforcement of the platform’s terms of service among similarly situated users.

In this video I look at how this bill could even the playing field between small businesses and big tech. We go over the NAW’s campaign to combat Amazon via the American Innovation and Choice Online Act and see what Amazon’s arguments against the legislation are.
