Top apps in free app iTunes categories
By John Morris
Apple iTunes consistently unveils new free apps on a weekly basis. From games to education there are thousands of applications available to download. Currently the top 10 free apps include:
- Facebook – The Facebook mobile app makes it easy for users to access the social media platform from mobile devices.
- Facebook Messenger – The Facebook Messenger mobile app allows you to access the social media platform’s chat and messaging features.
- YouTube – YouTube is a popular video sharing website; the application allows you to upload and view videos.
- Instagram – The Instagram application allows you to update your Instagram account.
- Snapchat – Snapchat is a popular mobile chat application that allows you to easily share photos and videos.
- Pandora – Pandora is an online radio application.
- Trivia Crack – As the name suggests, Trivia Crack is a trivia game, which was developed by Etermax.
- Agent Alice – Agent Alice is an interactive game that features multiple characters and fun missions. It is developed by Wooga.
- iTunes U – iTunes U is an education mobile app that gives you access to university courses on your iPad.
- Jelly Jump – Jelly Jump is an interactive game for the iPhone, iPad, and IPod touch.
The game requires you to answer questions within a certain amount of time. The game can be played over multiple days or at a feverish pace for shorter game play. It also features user-sourced questions and answers. Unlike other trivia games, Trivia Crack features a wide-variety of questions. Finally, it is my favorite mobile app because it can be played during commutes, while hanging out with friends, or at any point of the day that I want a momentary, albeit fun, distraction.
